- Cisco surveyed more than 3000 security leaders across 18 countries, from organizations of 100-499 employees to large enterprises and the public sector.
- Alert management remains a struggle for many organizations. Only 24.1% of alerts that were investigated turned out to be legitimate, down from 34% in 2018.
- Vendor consolidation is on the rise. In 2019, 63% of respondents had 10 or fewer vendors in their environment (up 9% from 2018), leading to fewer alert orchestration challenges
